We are looking for a Backend/ Full Stack Software Engineer to join our development team. Reporting to the Application Tech Lead, you will contribute throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance.

You will work on cloud-based applications built with
Angular and Java Spring Boot in a microservices ecosystem. Working closely with other developers, Tech Leads, Product Managers, and UX/UI designers, you will help deliver scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly solutions for the ports and terminals industry.

• Design, develop, and maintain web application features using Java (Spring Boot).
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with developers, Product Managers, and UX/UI designers to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and contribute to event-driven integrations using Kafka.
• Write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable code following development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards across the team.
• Implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces based on UX/UI designs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Create automated tests to ensure the reliability and quality of the delivered features.
• Document technical solutions and share knowledge with other team members.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Backend development (Java).
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Frontend development (Angular).
• Hands-on experience developing applications with Angular and Typescript
• Good knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and asynchronous communication.
• Knowledge of clean code principles and software development best practices
• Experience with automated testing on both frontend and backend applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks and challenges.
