Physics ​/ Maths Teacher KS3 - KS5

Role Description The Physics Teacher KS3–KS5 will plan, deliver, and assess engaging physics lessons for students across Key Stages 3 to 5, ensuring alignment with the British curriculum and school policies. This full-time, on-site role is based near to Benidorm and involves preparing schemes of work, designing practical and theoretical activities, and differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs. The teacher will monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to internal and external examination preparation.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, participating in school events and meetings, and supporting the wider school community.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong subject knowledge in Physics and Physics Education, with the ability to teach confidently from KS3 to KS5.
Candidates should possess effective Teaching and Lesson Planning skills, including classroom management and the ability to design clear, structured learning sequences.
Candidates should possess solid Mathematics skills to support the quantitative aspects of physics and help learners develop problem-solving abilities.
Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive, student-centered learning and safeguarding practices.
A relevant university degree in Physics or a closely related field, and a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent), would be beneficial.
Experience teaching in a British or international school context, familiarity with KS3–KS5 assessment frameworks, and proficiency in using educational technology would be advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and a willingness to contribute to extracurricular STEM or science-related activities would be beneficial.
