Materials Planner

We are looking to fill a vacancy for a Materials Planner.

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute their vision, organisational skills and analytical abilities to ensure the optimal flow of materials and production planning at our Almussafes plant.

You will be the key link between forecasts, materials and production capacity to ensure that manufacturing is carried out efficiently and in line with customer demand.

• Manage key planning data: sales orders, OEM forecasts, inventories, resources, and strategic plans.
• Prepare daily production plans using Preactor – Siemens.
• Prepare and communicate weekly production plans and work orders.
• Provide support in resolving incidents: delays, material shortages, planning changes and labour availability.
• Monitor planning and production performance KPIs.
• Analyse inventories and flows, proposing improvements in design and operational processes.

• Solid practical experience in MRP, production scheduling and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of master scheduling and detailed sequencing.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve problems proactively.
• Clear communication and ability to coordinate with different areas and levels.
• Previous experience with Preactor and SAP is desirable.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Related training or at least 2 years’ experience in similar roles.
• Fluent English. German would be an advantage.
