This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Chief Executive Officer – B2B SaaS, HR Tech, German Speaker based in Spain.
This future CEO role offers the opportunity to lead a product-led B2B SaaS business in the HR tech and workforce management space.
You will own the company’s P&L, strategy, growth, culture and overall performance while guiding the business through its next stage of scale.
The initial focus is on the German market, with potential to expand internationally and take on additional complementary brands over time.
You will combine strong product and marketing leadership with commercial judgment, operational discipline and hands‑on execution.
Working with leadership, board‑level stakeholders and a broader SaaS community, you will shape go‑to‑market, product and organizational strategy.
The role offers significant autonomy similar to running a founder‑led business, supported by an experienced international network and shared resources.
It is a fully remote opportunity designed for an entrepreneurial leader who can build teams, accelerate growth and create long‑term value.
Accountabilities   Own the overall strategy, P&L, growth and performance of a product‑led B2B SaaS business focused initially on the German market.
Drive revenue and product growth by strengthening acquisition, activation, customer engagement and scalable go‑to‑market motions.
Lead marketing and product strategy, identifying opportunities to improve the user experience, expand the customer base and increase sustainable revenue.
Establish operational plans, budgets, KPIs and performance frameworks while optimizing ROI, efficiency and scalability.
Build, coach and retain a high‑performing leadership team, establishing clear goals, accountability and succession plans.
Strengthen organizational resilience and prepare the business to operate effectively as additional complementary brands are added.
Identify emerging trends, including AI, and evaluate new technologies, business models and opportunities through data‑driven experimentation.
Establish a high‑performance culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, innovation and alignment across teams.
Communicate a compelling long‑term vision to employees, leadership stakeholders and external partners.
Potentially take ownership of additional brands or business lines within the same market as the portfolio grows.
Requirements   Proven leadership experience as a CEO, General Manager or senior executive within a B2B SaaS HR Tech business, ideally in a product‑led growth environment.
Demonstrated track record of growing SaaS products, revenue and teams while building sustainable businesses.
Strong operational and commercial background, with hands‑on experience turning strategy into measurable execution.
Deep expertise in marketing and product, with the ability to grow a SaaS user base and revenue through product‑led and marketing‑led approaches.
Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, KPI management and linking financial discipline to sustainable growth.
Experience leading organizational transformation, process improvement, operational standardization and adoption of modern business practices.
Proven ability to attract, develop and retain high‑performing talent while mentoring future leaders and building succession pipelines.
Strong people leadership skills, including goal setting, performance management, accountability and culture building.
Comfort managing multiple brands or business lines simultaneously and switching effectively between complementary products and priorities.
