Job Purpose

Develop, manage and monitor, annually and month by month up to 45 days before the operation, the needs of manpower of crew members population assigned (pilots or TCP - how many, where, and for how long) of all flights operated globally by Vueling, in accordance with Company business needs and the current regulatory framework, in order to build an optimal airline crew resource plan (right balance between efficiency, robustness, and quality of life of crew members), ensuring need of manpower that the company needs to operate the flights that the business plan requires.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities
  • Collect, from different departments, of all necessary and relevant information about business & operation needs, flight crew requirements, assumptions and pairings possibilities, in order to ensure that all the necessary information is available to carry out the manpower planning and budget of pilots or TCPs.
  • Develop, manage and monthly monitor the annual manpower business plan of pilots or TCPs, in order to identify how much we can fly with the available resources, balancing them to manage peaks of demand, optimizing training planning and resource planning decisions, and ensuring the execution and constant readjustment of the plan; besides, provides availability for holidays and trainings.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of manpower annual budget and carry out rolling forecasts of pilots or TCPs, in order to provide useful, consistent and updated data to budgeting and finance departments, guaranteeing a smooth execution of the budget.
  • Identify the need of recruiting of crew members (pilots or TCP), and coordinate their needs of mandatory training, in order to assure that they will be hired, trained and ready for operating the flights.
  • Participate in the development of manpower studies on demand of possible new business opportunities (new bases, markets, or scenarios), in order to provide them with reliable value-added information that facilitates decision-making.
  • Any other responsibility or function that is assigned inherent to the job. That it is in the employee's hand in order to fulfill the mission of the job.
Education

Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Management, Business Administration or a related field.

Skilled in data analysis, management and visualization.

Advanced Excel knowledge.

Experience

Among 2-4 years of experience in similar roles in airlines or other industries related.
