Hiab Cranes is looking for a Material Planner to ensure the appropriate supply of cost‑efficient and high‑quality materials required to maintain steady production and product delivery.

The position will be based in Zaragoza, Spain.

• Release of purchase orders for direct material (those used in Production)
• Monitoring of orders to ensure that there is no lack of supply on the Production lines
• Provide technical and daily activities and understand the demand to develop material management activities, such as logistics or warehousing
• Negotiation and monitoring with suppliers, mostly international, to adjust their production capacity to ours

• University degree or equivalent, with relevant engineering and/or industrial experience
• At least 2 years relevant work experience in logistics / sourcing roles in an international and multi‑site company
• Experience in working with large suppliers with global multi‑site footprint and managing supplier relations and negotiations
• Experience in using ERP systems
• Experience in complex steel assemblies / hydraulic systems / electrical & electronics preferred
• Communication skills
• Fluency in English - both written and spoken
• Excellent knowledge in sourcing methods; supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, analytical skills and legal/contractual knowledge
• Continuous improvement mindset with a business‑driven and fact based approach towards suppliers with a focus on building long‑term relationships.
• Desirable:
  Business Intelligence skills (Power BI, SQL, Google Apps)
