With three campuses in Southern California (two in San Diego, and one in Newport Beach in Orange County, south of Los Angeles), Southern States University is a private English language school and business degree-granting institute founded in 1983. We provide intensive English courses for beginner through advanced English language students, as well as TOEFL test preparation courses. SSU's mission is to provide non-native English speakers and international students with language instruction of the highest quality. 

English Language Programs:

TOEFL Test Preparation:
- 18 Hours per week, Morning classes
- 3 hours TOEFL + 1.5 hour topic class per day
- Monday through Thursday
          
Intensive English Program:
- 18 Hours per week
- 3 hours core + 1.5 hour topic class per day
- Monday through Thursday
- Available mornings, afternoons, evenings
