Our diploma and advanced diploma courses in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Management are ideal for students who wish to pursue a career in hospitality or any related service industry. Completion of the Advanced Diploma allows you to progress to the final year of University of Derby BA (Hons) in International Hospitality Management.

Diploma & Advanced Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Management:
The Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Management is an 8-module qualification of which students have to take 2 Business module sets and 2 Travel, Tourism & Hospitality module sets.

Students who have prior studies or work experience can apply for credit transfers. Each module set is 60 credit points.

Students must attain 240 credits in total to be awarded the Diploma. Students who attain all 480 credits will be awarded the Advanced Diploma.

Course Duration:
Available as part-time and full-time courses which are completed in 24 months. The course will be delivered on a part-time basis in 60 lessons of 3 hours each and on a full-time basis, Mondays - Fridays, 3 hours daily.

Academic and Professional Development 1; Food & Beverage Operations; Hospitality Concepts; Hospitality Accommodation Management; Principles of International Business; Business Operations Management

- Advanced Course Modules:
Academic and Professional Development 2; Event Catering Management; International Hotel Management; Trends in the Hospitality Industry; Applied Business Management; Business Development and Entrepreneurship

Entry Requirements:
- Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Management - GCE 'N' and 'O' Levels with a pass in English or equivalent
- Advanced Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Management - Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Management or equivalent
