Summer English Courses in Honolulu, Hawaii

Institute Of Intensive English:
The Institute of Intensive English (IIE) Hawaii is located in central Waikiki, Honolulu (only a 3 minute walk from Waikiki beach). We are a high-quality English language school that provides English summer programs for children and teenagers ages 6 to 16 years. IIE Hawaii is a world leader in delivering total immersion English courses, and welcomes students from around the world to our outstanding academic programs, activities and services. We also provide a basic English Summer School program for parents of students studying in our K-STEP and T-STEP programs.

Total Immersion English Summer Programs:

Kid-STEP (6-12 years) & Teen-STEP (12-16 years)

We offer exciting English plus Activity programs for children between the ages of 6-12 years old in the Kid Short Term English Program (K-STEP), and young adults between the ages of 12-16 years old in the Teen Short Term English Program (T-STEP).

Students have three hours of high-quality lessons at our school, and different fun activities and trips around Hawaii every school day.

Students may join from one week to six weeks. Snacks are included, but students must bring their own lunch.

K-STEP and T-STEP programs are scheduled for 6 weeks in the summer. Our Summer K-STEP and T-STEP classes and activities run 9am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.

Our summer programs are very, very popular, and always fill up very early for the peak weeks. Early registration is highly recommended. 

* Homestay may be available for T-STEP students studying on their own without their families.


English Classes for Parents:
Parents who also want to study English at IIE can join our STEP course or the Summer STEP.

The Summer STEP course is a beginner level course designed for parents who have children studying in IIE's summer programs.

The Summer STEP Course teaches basic grammar and functional conversational English such as: Travel English, Restaurant English, Going to the Doctor, Hotel English, Talking to the Teacher, etc. 

There is no placement test. All Summer STEP students study at the beginner level.
