The Embassy provides these consular services:

  • Assists Belgian citizens in distress.

Nationals of Portugal do not need a visa to visit Belgium for a stay of up to 3 months.

Nationals of most third countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) are under an obligation to hold a visa for a proposed stay of a maximum duration of 3 months on the territory of the Schengen States.

The Embassy of Belgium in Lisbon only accept payments:

  • by multibanco (no credit cards)
  • by bank transfer on the consular account of the embassy

The Embassy doesn’t accept files or documents for treatment without valid proof of payment. The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
