Consular services provided by the Embassy:

In case of loss, theft or destruction of a Brazilian passport, it should be immediately reported to the Brazilian authority that issued the passport or the nearest Brazilian Embassy or Consulate. It is also recommended to keep a photocopy of a passport which helps when applying for a new passport.
European citizens (including Belgium) are exempt from tourist visa to Brazil for stays up to 90 days.
Vaccination against yellow fever is recommended if the applicant has the intention to visit one of the following regions of Brazil: Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Distrito Federal, Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima, Tocantins.
