In case of loss, theft or destruction of a Brazilian passport, it should be immediately reported to the Brazilian authority that issued the passport or the nearest Brazilian Embassy or Consulate. It is also recommended to keep a photocopy of a passport which helps when applying for a new passport.
Nationals of Brazil are exempt from visa requirement to enter the Schengen area (including France). If they are gainfully employed, the exemption only applies if they can produce a work permit.
Nationals of France do not require a visa to visit Brazil for up to 90 days for tourism purposes.
