Loss or theft of the Canadian passport must be reported to the nearest Government of Canada office abroad.

Citizens of India need visas to visit Canada. Document checklist:

• Fee payment in an acceptable format.
• A photocopy of the information page of valid passport or travel document.
• Two photos.
• Proof of financial support.
• Photocopy of marriage license/certificate.
• Purpose of travel.
• Photocopy of current immigration status.
• Minors travelling alone or with one parent must provide custody documents or a letter of authorization from the other non accompanying parent or a letter of authorization signed by both parents or legal guardians.
• Any additional documents required by the responsible visa office.

Visa processing time is around 27 days.
