The objective of the Embassy of Chile in the Netherlands is to promote and strengthen bilateral relations through the development of economic, political, cultural and scientific ties of the two countries, as well as to represent and protect the interests of the State of Chile and its nationals within the Dutch territory, pursuant to the principles of international law. Functions of the Embassy are: developing and follow up of the Chile - Netherlands agenda in various fields originating from the agreements reached at bilateral consultation mechanisms and multilateral meetings; promoting and strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest; proposing courses of action and strategies to address premanent and short-term bilateral issues; monitoring domestic and foreign policy of the Netherlands.
