Services provided by the Consular Section of the Embassy:

• Assistance to Chinese citizens abroad in cases of emergency.
• Issuance of visas;
• Power of attorney;
• Issuance of passports;
• Notarial services.

Citizens of Brazil need visas to visit China. Documents required for a tourist visa:

• Visa application form and photo.
• Proof of legal stay or residence status (applicable to those not applying for the visa in their country of citizenship).
• Photocopy of precious Chinese passports or previous Chinese visas (applicable to foreign citizens who were Chinese citizens and have obtained foreign citizenship).
• Documents showing the itinerary including air ticket booking record (round trip) and proof of a hotel reservation, etc. or an invitation letter issued by a relevant entity or individual in China.

The Embassy does not accept checks or credit cards.
