Consular services provided by the Embassy:

• Passports and travel documents;
• Notarization and authentication;
• Assistance to Chinese citizens abroad in cases of emergency.

Citizens of Turkey require a visa to visit China for tourism purposes. Documentation required:

• Original passport with at least six months of remaining validity and blank visa pages,and a photocopy of the passport's data page and the photo page if it is separate.
• Proof of legalstay or residence status (applicable to those not applying for the visa in their country of citizenship).
• One completed Visa Application Form with a recently-taken colour passport photo (bare-head, full face) against a light background attached.
• Photocopy of previous Chinese passports or previous Chinese visas (applicableto those who were Chinese citizens and have obtained foreign citizenship).
• Documents showing the itinerary including air ticket booking record (round trip) and proof of a hotel reservation, etc. or aninvitation letter issued by a relevant entity or individual in China. 
• Bank Certificate of deposit with the amount not less than 5000TL.

The Embassy of People's Republic of China in Ankara only accepts the Visa applications submitted by applicants from Adana, Adiyaman, Afyon, Agri, Aksaray, Amasya, Ankara, Antalya, Artvin, Ardahan, Aydin, Bartin, Batman, Bayburt, Bilecik, Bingol, Bitlis, Bolu, Burdur, Cankiri, Corum, Denizli, Diyabakir, Duzce, Elazig, Erzincan, Erzurum, Eskisehir, Gaziantep, Giresun, Gumushane, Igdir, Hakkari, Hatay, Isparta, Karabuk, Kars, Karaman, Kilis, Kirikkale, Kastamonu, Kayseri, Kirsehir, Konya, Kutahya, Kahramanmaras, Malatya, Mardin, Mersin(Icel), Mugla, Mus, Nevsehir, Nigde, Ordu, Osmaniya, Riza, Sakarya, Samsun, Sirnak, Siirt, Sinop, Sivas, Tokat, Trabzon, Tunceli, Sanliurfa, Usak, Van, Yozgat, Zonguldak.

Applications submitted by mail or by a delivery service are not acceptable.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
