When applying for a Chinese visa in Canberra, one should keep in mind the following:

  • Application must be made within 3 months before the intended date of entry into China.
  • One must pay the fee in cash, money order or bank cheque.
  • A pre-paid, self-addressed return envelop/satchel must be enclosed if application is made by mail or through delivery agencies.
  • The application must be fully completed.
  • If the passport is to be collected in person, the pink-colored pick up form must be shown.
