Priorities of the Czech Embassy in Copenhagen:
- To strengthen the good relations between the Czech Republic and Denmark;
- To develop a dialogue on foreign and security policy and on EU affairs;
- To encourage trade and economic cooperation, focusing especially on cooperation in the field of science, research and innovation;
- To promote the Czech Republic;
- To support joint projects with CzechTrade, CzechInvest and CzechTourism offices in Denmark;
- To deepen cooperation on issues related to the development of civil society and protection of human rights in third countries;
- To provide consular services to Czech nationals.
Consular services provided by the Embassy:
- Issues passports, driving licenses;
- Deals with citizenship matters;
- Issues birth, marriage certificates;
- Allows Czech citizens to participate in national elections;
- Provides the translation of documents;
- Issues visas to foreigners;
- Assists Czech citizens in cases of emergency.
In case of lost or stolen passport of the Czech Republic or any identification document, it should be immediately reported to the municipal office which issued the lost/stolen document or to the Embassy. A police report must also be obtained.
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Copenhagen does not issue visas. Applicants living in Denmark may apply for visas at the Czech Embassy in Berlin, Germany.
Citizens of the EU (including Denmark), Iceland, Norway, Lichtenstein, and Switzerland may travel to the Czech Republic without visa.
