In the Philippines, only the Embassy processes visa applications to Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

In order to travel to Denmark, Filipino citizens need a Schengen visa, a valid residence or work permit which should be obtained before departure from the Philippines.

Documents required for a tourist visa:

  • Schengen visa application form;
  • One passport sized photo with white background and not older than 6 months;
  • Original passport;

Decisions about visa applications must normally be made within 15 days. In some cases applications will require further enquiry. In some cases further documentation is required. In these cases the processing time can be up to 60 days.

As a general rule a fee is applicable to most services, with the exceptions of imprisonment, child abduction cases and in the instance of a serious crime committed against a Danish national.
