Main priorities of the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Netherlands are to promote tourism, FDI opportunities, bilateral trade, multilateral issues and strengthen cultural ties between both the Netherlands and the Dominican Republic. Also, this Embassy supports Dominican expatriates and provides effective consular services to the public in general.

The consular services provided by the Embassy are:

  • Issuing passports;
  • Issuing marriage certificates;
  • Issuing visas
  • Dealing with adoption matters;
  • Providing notarial services.

In case Dominican passport is lost, it should be reported to the local police to obtain a notification about the fact of lost passport.

All foreign nationals or landing immigrant in the Netherlands do not need visa to enter to the Dominican Republic, but should bring a valid passport from their country of origin and their Dutch Landing Immigrant Card. The nationals of countries with which the Dominican Republic have visa agreements and the nationals of countries authorized to travel with tourist cards do not need visa to enter the Dominican territory.

The Embassy is closed on weekends and public holidays.
