The opening hours of the Embassy: Sunday - Thursday from 08:30 till 4:30 pm. Visitors are received with appointments only. You can contact the Embassy for information on applying for a Dutch visa or passport, legalizing documents, taking the civil integration exam, acquiring or regaining Dutch nationality, and many other procedures.

Due to security reasons Afghan nationals who intend to travel to Netherlands for tourism, family visit or business purposes should apply for a visa in the Dutch Embassy in Islamabad, UAE, India or Iran. For safety and technical reasons the Embassy can also provide only limited services regarding passport applications.

For the same security reasons the Embassy in Kabul does not have a consular department which could legalize documents from Afghanistan therefore notarization of Afghan source documents is not possible for the time being.
