Consular agenda of the Embassy of Ecuador is to strengthen Ecuadorian cultural promotion and educational/professional support in the Netherlands.

Embassy of the Republic of Ecuador provides consular services related to:

• Notarial acts (power of attorney, revocation of power of attorney, permission to leave the country, affidavits, affidavit of household goods);
• Acts of civil status (birth registration, extract of civil status, birth certificate, celebration and registration of marriage);
• Passports;
• Visas;
• Register (consular and voter registration, electoral registration;
• Consular protection.

While no foreigners need a visa to enter Ecuador for tourism purposes for a period of 90 days, in order to stay in the country for a longer period of time, a visa must be obtained from an Ecuadorian Embassy or Consulate after complying with the requirements established by the law. All foreigners, except those who have 12-X visas, must register their visa at the immigration department of the ministry of government within 30 days of their arrival to Ecuador, carrying their passport and visa issues by the respective Consulate. Also, they must contact the department of migration for the respective census and to receive their card.

All consular fees are payable in cash and in Euros.
