Embassy of Finland in Brasilia, Brazil represents Finnish State authorities and monitors the Finnish political, economic and cultural interests in Brazil.

Consular services provided:

• Assistance to Finnish citizens and foreigners permanently living in Finland;
• Military service matters;
• Issuance of passports;
• Citizenship matters;
• Notarial services;
• Issuance of visas and residence permits;
• Registers Finnish citizens abroad.

If Finnish passport is lost or stolen, it should be immediately reported to the local police. A police notification about the loss/theft of the passport will be needed when applying for a new passport at the Embassy or Consulate of Finland.

Brazilians do not need visas to visit Finland for tourism purposes for stays of up to 90 days.

Consular fees must be paid by bank transfer.
