Embassy's mission is to provide services to citizens of Finland, to non-Finnish citizens with permanent residence in Finland and in certain matters also to citizens of another country.

Consular services include:

• Issuing of passports;
• Providing notarial services;
• Assisting with legal issues that concern family matters, citizenship and military service;
• Organizing advance voting abroad;
• Assisting non-Finish citizens with entry permit questions.

For the purpose of issuing visas, Finland is represented by Estonia in Minsk.

Visa applications can be submitted:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10.00 - 13.00, groups 13.00-14.00. For appointment to submit applications of groups (tourism, companies, cultural or sports events etc.) please call +370 17 217 7060 (from Monday to Friday 9.00-11.00 and 15.00-17.00) or contact the Embassy by e-mail: embassy.minsk@mfa.ee.
• Issuing of visas: 15.00 - 16.00

In case of a lost, stolen or damaged passport while abroad, Finnish citizens can get an emergency passport to return home or to continue their travel. An emergency passport is issued for the duration of their travel, but no longer than 12 months. Finnish citizens must report the loss or theft of their passport to the local police and present the notification at the Embassy when applying for a replacement passport.

The Embassy of Finland in Vilnius will be closed on the Finnish and Lithuanian holidays.
