Embassy's mission is to maintain and develop good relations between Finland and Spain, and interaction in political, commercial and cultural sectors. The Embassy represents Finland in Spain and Andorra.

Consular services provided:

• Assistance to Finnish citizens and foreigners permanently living in Finland;
• Issuance of passports;
• Notarial services;
• Citizenship matters;
• Military service matters;
• Issuance of visas and residence permits;
• Registers Finnish citizens abroad.

If Finnish passport is lost or stolen, it should be immediately reported to the local police. A police notification about the loss/theft of the passport will be needed when applying for a new passport at the Embassy or Consulate of Finland.

Temporary passport processing fee is 175 € and the emergency passport fee is 160 €. The emergency passport is only valid for the return trip to home country.

Citizens of Spain, like other EU-citizens, do not need visa for travelling to Finland.
