In case of lost or stolen travel documents abroad, French citizens must make a list of lost/stolen items and report it to the local police authorities. French mission may issue a temporary travel document to return to France.

Nationals of Brazil are exempt from visa requirement to enter the Schengen Area (including France) for short stays. If they are gainfully employed, the exemption only applies if they can produce a work permit.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
