In case of lost or stolen travel documents abroad, French citizens must make a list of lost/stolen items and report it to the local police authorities. French mission may issue a temporary travel document to return to France.

Citizens of Turkey are required to hold visas to visit France. All foreign nationals wanting to come to France must be able to submit statutory documentary evidence at the border for the reasons for their stay, their means of support and accommodation arrangements.
