The French Embassy in Tirana provides a wide range of consular services. The Consular Office reissues passports, national identity cards and other travel documents. All French citizens residing within Albania are encourages to register with the Embassy for security reasons. Other administrational procedures include legalization, customs and taxation plus all additional services regarding marital status.

The Embassy provides all the necessary information and assistance regarding visa aplications.

The fees are listed on the list of required documents. These fees are levied only in Leks (ALL). As an indication, they amounted to the equivalent of:

• € 60 for short-stay visas;
• € 35 for short-stay visas
• € 99 for long-stay visas.
