Embassy's primary goal has been to promote Georgia and protect the rights of its citizens. Further strengthening the existing relationship between the two countries in a number of important areas, such as politics, economics, culture, tourism, etc. is one of the main tasks.

Services provided by the Embassy:

• Issues visas;
• Legalizes documents;
• Issues civil status acts;
• Deals with Georgian citizenship matters;
• Power of attorney;
• Allows Georgian citizens abroad to participate in national electoral events;
• Issues residence permits.

Foreign nationals who have a multiple entry US, EU or Schengen member states visas, which have validity for one year or more and had been used once at least, can enter or stay on the territory of Georgia without visa up to 90 days, withing the validity term of the visa.

Citizens of the member states of European Union can enter Georgia on the basis of the Identity Card. Citizens of the Netherlands do not need a visa to enter and stay on the territory of Georgia for 360 days.
