The Consular Section of the Embassy covers a wide range of standard service for German citizens:

• Issuance of passports and consular certificates,
• Verification of authenticity of documents Albanian (legalization),
• Making of certifications,
• Counseling for marriage abroad, in national inquiries in pension matters and customs and tax issues.

Currently no certifications can be made at the German Embassy in Tirana. If necessary, the certification may be made by a German representative in the neighboring countries.

The Embassy also helps in a variety of emergencies. This ranges from the issuance of passport replacement securities, the care and repatriation of sick people and involvement in the transfer of deaths up to the support of prisoners.
