From 08/17/2016 applications are accepted only by appointment through German Embassy's website.

Consular services provided by the Consular section are related to the following matters:

  • German nationality;
  • Civil status (marriage, birth, etc.);
  • Passports and identity cards;
  • Certificates and apostille;
  • Visas;
  • Issuance of criminal records.

In case of lost or stolen passport while abroad, German citizens may apply for an emergency travel document to return to Germany at the German Embassy or Consulate. Application process is easier, if the applicant can provide photocopies of all lost identity documents.

Danish citizens do not need visas to visit Germany, and vice versa.

Due to safety reasons it is not permitted to bring any kind of luggage into the Embassy.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
