Citizens of the Russian Federation must apply for a Schengen visa to visit Germany for tourism purposes for stays of up to 90 days. Visa requirements:

  • Application form.
  • Valid travel document.
  • 2 passport photos.
  • Visa fee.
  • Travel health insurance covering EUR 30,000.
  • Copy of domestic passport.
  • For minors: copy of birth certificate, consent of the parent/guardian and copy of valid Schengen visas of accompanying parents.
  • For third-country nationals: proof of legal long-term stay in the Russian Federation.
  • Proof of accommodation.
  • Proof of the itinerary.
  • Proof of an employment relationship or proof of financial means and the willingness to return to home country.

The visa fees are payable in Russian rubles, but are set in euros.

The Embassy and Consulates are closed on public holidays.
