Consular services provided by the Embassy:
- Assistance to German citizens in cases of emergency;

- Registration of German citizens abroad;

- Dealing with citizenship matters;
- Dealing with international marriage matters;

- Dealing with military service matters.
In case of lost or stolen passport while abroad, German citizens may apply for an emergency travel document to return to Germany at the German Embassy or Consulate. Application process is easier, if the applicant can provide photocopies of all lost identity documents.
Citizens of South Korea do not require visas to visit Germany for stays of up to 90 days in a 180-day period.
Consular fees must be paid either in cash in Korean Won or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard) in Euros.
The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
