The Embassy provides consular services  related to the following matters:

• Passports;
• Driving license renewal;
• Certificates of permanent residence abroad;
• Civil status documents;
• Power of attorney;
• Military service;
• Certificates of change of residency;

In case of loss or theft, the holder of the lost passport must report the loss immediately to the nearest police or consular authority (the same holds true if the lost passport is found).

Russian citizens are required to hold a visa to enter Greece. Tourism visa requirements are:

• filled in visa application form;
• a photograph;
• paid visa fee;
• an invitation from the host if staying with one;
• a document from the establishment providing accommodation or any other appropriate document indicating the accommodation envisaged;
• confirmation of the booking of an organised trip or any other appropriate document indicating the envisaged travel plans;
• in the case of transit: visa or other entry permit for the third country of destination; tickets for onward journey;
• proof regarding the means of subsistence;
• travel medical insurance.

The consulate may, in justified cases, call the applicant for an interview during the examination of an application.

The decision-making may take up to 15 calendar days after the application has been considered admissible.
