The Icelandic Consulate in Tirana provides only the basic and primary services. For any emergencies or enquiries one should call the Consulate in advance.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iceland in Sweden is also accredited to the Republic of Albania.

The Embassy of Iceland in Stockholm represents Iceland vis-à-vis Sweden, as well as Albania, Kuwait, Cyprus, and Syria. The role of the Embassy is to represent the interest of Iceland in all respect vis-à-vis in those countries. The mission of the Embassy is also to promote bilateral political, economic, trade, investment and cultural relations between Iceland and the above-mentioned countries. Furthermore, the Embassy protects and assists, when needed, the Icelandic national's vis-à-vis foreign authorities, institutions and individuals.

The Consular Office of the Embassy provides all the standard consular services, such as assistance to its citizens with travel documents, legal issues, and various emergencies. The Consular Office also offers information and assistance with visas and other travel to Iceland related issues to the Albanian citizens.
