In the event of loss of Passport by Indian tourists / businessmen travelling to Spain, they are required to personally visit Embassy of India, Madrid, for obtaining replacement passport or travel document to continue with their travel out of Spain.

e-Tourist visa facility is available for nationals of Spain.


  • International Travellers whose sole objective of visiting India is recreation, sightseeing, casual visit to meet friends or relatives, short duration medical treatment or casual business visit.
  • Passport should have at least six months validity from the date of arrival in India. The passport should have at least two blank pages for stamping by the Immigration Officer.
  • International Travellers should have return ticket or onward journey ticket, with sufficient money to spend during his/her stay in India.


  • Recent front facing photograph with white background and photo page of Passport containing personal details like name, date of birth, nationality, expiry date etc. to be uploaded by the applicant.
  • E-tourist visa fee.
  • Applicant should carry a copy of eTV along with him/her at the time of travel.
  • Biometric details of the applicant will be mandatorily captured at Immigration on arrival in India.
  • Scanned first page of passport.

E-Tourist Visa fees for the nationals of Spain and Andorra is USD 48, as per the new fees structure implemented with effect from November 3, 2015.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
