Consular services provided by the Embassy:

In case of lost or stolen passport abroad, Indonesian citizens must report it to the local police and bring police report about the loss/theft of their passport to the nearest Indonesian Embassy to apply for a new passport.

Holders of passports issued by India are eligible to apply for a Visa on Arrival.

Visa on Arrival (VoA) can be obtained upon arrival in Indonesia at the designated airports, seaports or land border checkpoint. VoA is valid for a maximum of 30 days of stay starting on the first day of arrival regardless of the time of arrival. VoA is issued at the discretion of the Immigration Officer at the point of arrival.

VoA can be extended for another 30 days subject to the eligibility of sponsorship of the traveler’s stay in Indonesia. To do so, travelers are advised to contact the nearest local Immigration Office in Indonesia.

Requirements:

  • Original passports valid for at least 6 (six) months upon the date of entry to Indonesia (holders of temporary/ emergency passports or other travel documents are not eligible to apply for a VoA)
  • Return ticket or onward passage ticket
  • Visa fee (US$ 35)

Payment for visa, legalization and other consular service should be made through bank transfer or deposit to the Embassy's official account. The Embassy of Indonesia no longer accepts cash payment for any of its services. Any visa application or request for consular service whose payment is not made through bank transfer or deposit, will be returned to the applicant and the request will not be processed.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
