The Embassy provides the following consular services:

• Legalization of documents;
• Marriage registration;
• Issuance of diplomatic and service passports;
• Issuance of official statement letters (birth, driving licence, death);
• Transportation of the deceased, his/her remains back to Indonesia;
• Issuance of visas;
• Renewal of Seaman's Book;
• Issuance of civil status certificates (marriage, divorce).

Netherlands passport bearers may apply for visa on arrival. The requirements for a tourist visa are:

• A visit visa application shall be submitted by the applicant or his/her sponsor to the overseas Visa Officer after fully complying with the general visa requirements;
• Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from date of entry into Indonesia;
• Visas shall be used within 90 days, calculated from the date of issuance. Any foreign national who fails to use a visa within this designated period of time must submit a new visa application.

When applying for a visa, the following documents/information is needed:

• Passport (with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of entry into Indonesia or 18 months for Temporary Stay Permit);
• Copy of return Ticket / Itinerary;
• One recent photograph;
• Copy of ID Card from IND or GBA (Gemeentelijke Basis Administratie) for non Dutch Nationality;
• Approval from Immigration Office Jakarta (if required);
• Invitation letter and Reference/Recommendation letter (if required);
• Address in Indonesia (if required).

The Embassy can issue the visa within 3 working days after all required documents are submitted.

Visa payments should be made by PIN (ATM Card). Cash payments are no longer accepted.

The Embassy will be closed on Indonesian and local public holidays.
