The Embassy works to promote and protect Irish interests in France whether it is working to promote Irish economic interests or to strengthen the political and cultural ties between the two countries. The Embassy also provides a range of key consular services.

• Emergency assistance.

If Irish passport is lost or stolen, Irish citizen should firstly report the loss or theft to the nearest police station as soon as possible after the event. Then he/she should contact the Embassy or nearest Honorary Consulate to make arrangements for an alternative travel document.

French citizens do not need an entry visa for Ireland.

The Embassy is closed on Public Holidays.
