The Embassy works to promote and protect Irish interests in Sweden whether it is working to promote Irish economic interests or to strengthen the political and cultural ties between Ireland and Sweden.

The Embassy provides consular services related to:

• Visas;
• Citizenship;
• Passports;
• Authenticating documents;
• Marriage and civil partnership;
• Emergency assistance.

If Irish passport is lost or stolen, Irish citizen should firstly report the loss or theft to the nearest police station as soon as possible after the event. 

Passport holders of Sweden do not need an entry visa for Ireland.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
