Consular services provided by the Embassy:

  • Registering a child who was born abroad to Israeli citizens;
  • Handling of matters related to the Israeli Defense Forces;
  • Requests for information from the Population Registry of the State of Israel;
  • Requests for information from the Israeli Police;
  • Notices and updates to the Ministry of the Interior;
  • Renouncing Israeli citizenship;
  • Inquiries about the rights of returning residents;
  • Import/export of animals.

The Consular Section of the Israeli Embassy in Moscow kindly informs that since 26 October 2015 all applications will be accepted only after prior electronic registration on the Embassy's website.

In case of lost, stolen or damaged passport, Israeli nationals can apply for a new passport at the Israeli diplomatic mission. If the passport is lost or stolen, a police report will be required when applying for a new passport.

Israel and Russia have a visa exemption agreement, therefore, Russian citizens do not require a visa to travel to Israel for stays of up to 90 days.

Security instructions for people who wish to obtain consular services at the mission offices:

  1. Please bring a photo ID.
  2. Every visitor and his belongings will be required to undergo a security check.
  3. For security purposes, no personal objects will be allowed into the mission, including handbags, mobile phones and electronic devices.
  4. Do not bring large handbags or suitcases to the mission.
  5. Do not bring food and/or beverage bottles or containers.
  6. The mission's security directives apply to people in the consular waiting room. The instructions of the security staff must be obeyed at all times
