Consular services provided by the Embassy:

  • Registration of Israeli citizens
  • Notarizations
  • Issuing and extending travel documents
  • Registering a child who was born to Israeli citizens
  • Handling of matter relating to the Israel defense forces
  • Requests for information from the population registry of the state of Israel and the Israel police
  • Visas  

Korean nationals are entitled to a tourist visa valid for a stay in Israel of up to 90 days. The visa will be issued at Ben-Gurion Airport in Israel upon entering Israel. There is no need to issue the tourist visa in the Embassy.

Please note that in order to receive the visa in Israel applicants are required to have:

  • A passport valid for at least 6 month
  • A return ticket from Israel

Non-Korean nationals should contact the consular department in order to know if they are required to apply for a visa in the Embassy before traveling to Israel.

A tourist visa can be extended in Israel for another 90days. The extension is done at any branch of the Ministry of interior.

Security instructions for people who wish to obtain consular services at the mission offices:

  • Please bring a photo ID.
  • Every visitor and his belongings will be required to undergo a security check.
  • For security purposes, no personal objects will be allowed into the mission, including handbags, mobile phones and electronic devices.
  • Do not bring large handbags or suitcases to the mission.
  • Do not bring food and/or beverage bottles or containers.
  • The mission's security directives apply to people in the consular waiting room. The instructions of the security staff must be obeyed at all times.

Embassy will be closed on Jewish and local holidays.
