In case Italian passport is lost or stolen, it should be immediately reported to the nearest Italian Embassy or Consulate.

Citizens of Turkey need visas to visit Italy.  

Documents required for a visa:

• Application form.
• Original passport.
• Photocopy of the passport page with biometric data and pages with previous visas.
• Visa fee.
• 1 biometric photo.
• Proof of possession of adequate and valid travel medical insurance.
• Flight reservations/travel or other documents showing the means of transport.
• Hotel bookings or travel plans.
• Proof of means of subsistence.
• Additional documents might be required.  

The amount for administrative costs of processing the visa application is payable at the time of the application in Turkish Lira and in cash.  

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
