Consular services provided by the Embassy:

In case Japanese passport is lost or stolen, it should be immediately reported to the local police and a police notification must be obtained.
Depending on nationality, the purpose of visit and the length of intended stay, a foreigner may or may not require a visa to enter Japan.
Holders of valid Portuguese passport do not need a visa to visit Japan for stays of up to 90 days, if the purpose of their stay is tourism, recreation, visiting relatives or acquaintances, participation in unpaid lectures, business research, participation in conferences, business trip or other unpaid activity.
The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
