In case of lost or stolen Japanese passport, holders the lost/stolen passport should immediately report it to the local police.

Spanish citizens who travel to Japan for stays of up to 90 days do not need a visa, if the purpose of travel is tourism, visiting relatives, business meetings, attendance at conferences or other unpaid activities. However, the final entry permit shall be issued upon arrival to Japan by the relevant immigration officer, after verification of compliance with the requirements of Japanese Immigration Act. Persons exempt from visa requirements, are advised to carry their passport along with documents that reveal the purpose of the trip (travel and accommodation booking, itinerary, etc.).

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
