The Embassy provides these consular services:

• Issues/renews passports;
• Issues civil status certificates (birth, marriage);
• Assists Lithuanian citizens to get in contact with their family, friends and quickly send/receive money;
• Deals with Lithuanian citizenship matters;
• Registers Lithuanian citizens living abroad;
• Provides notarial services;
• Assists in transporting the deceased to Lithuania;
• Issues visas;
• Issues residence permits;
• Legalizes documents.

If Lithuanian citizens loses his passport, ID card, driver's licence or vehicle registration certificate abroad, he/she should report the loss of a document to the local police. When Lithuanian passport or ID card is stolen or expired, the Embassy can issue a return travel certificate.

Citizens of the Netherlands do not require a visa to enter Lithuania. UN Laissez-passer allows the holder to travel to the Republic of Lithuania without a visa for up to 90 days within half a year.

Consular fees must be paid Euros. Consular fees for consular services provides on public holidays, weekends, at night will be charged at a double rate.
