The Embassy provides these consular services:

  • Registration of Malaysians abroad;
  • Birth/marriage certificate registration;
  • Registration of death;
  • Travel advice;
  • Passport renewal;
  • Issuance of visas;
  • Notary services.

Application for a new Malaysia Passport at the Immigration office in the Embassy of Malaysia in Beijing has to be submitted together with the following supporting documents:

  • 2 recent photographs with dark blue background;
  • Applicant’s Identity Card (IC) and 2 photocopy of the IC;
  • Applicant’s current passport and 2 photocopies of every pages of the passport;
  • Passport Application Form;
  • Payment for the fee of RMB 650 (48 pages)

 
If any of the required documents such as IC and current passport is lost, kindly attach police report with the application.

Citizens of the People's Republic of China (PRC) are required to apply for visa to enter Malaysia.

The submission of application for visa will only be accepted if the applicant:

  • Present a signed, dated Visa Application Form;
  • Provide one recent photograph;
  • Provide passport or travel document, which must be valid more than six months and has at least one page free in the visa pages for the insertion of a vignette; and
  • Pay the visa fee of RMB 80.

The Embassy is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
