The Embassy provides these consular services:

• Passport renewal;
• Birth/marriage certificate registration;
• Registration of Malaysians;
• Travel advice;
• Issuance of visas.

In the event of loss of personal documents and belongings, Malaysians are advised to report it at the nearest police station. This will facilitate any insurance claim and replacement of relevant documents. A copy of the police report should be attached when applying for emergency travel documents.

Citizens of Spain do not need a visa to visit Malaysia for stays of up to 90 days.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays. If a public holiday falls on Sunday, the following working day will be observed as a holiday.
