The Embassy provides these consular services:

• Registration of Malaysians;
• Passport renewal;
• Birth/marriage certificate registration;
• Travel advice;
• Issuance of visas.

In the event of loss of personal documents and belongings, Malaysians are advised to report it at the nearest police station. This will facilitate any insurance claim and replacement of relevant documents. A copy of the police report should be attached when applying for emergency travel documents.

Citizens of Switzerland do not need a visa to visit Malaysia for stays of up to 30 days.

The Embassy is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. If a holiday falls on Saturday, there will be no replacement on the next working day. If a holiday falls on Sunday, the next working day will be observed as a holiday.
