The Embassy provides these consular services:

  • Registration of Malaysians;
  • Passport renewal;
  • Birth/marriage certificate registration;
  • Travel advice;
  • Issuance of visas.

In the event of loss of personal documents and belongings, Malaysians are advised to report it at the nearest police station. This will facilitate any insurance claim and replacement of relevant documents. A copy of the police report should be attached when applying for emergency travel documents.

Malaysia's tourist visa is not required for citizens of the Kingdom of Thailand for stays not exceeding 30 days.

The Embassy is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. When a Public Holiday falls on Sunday, the following working day will be observed as holiday.
